pretix

pretix is an open-source event ticketing platform letting organisers sell, scan and manage tickets for conferences, concerts, workshops and sports events. Founded in Heidelberg, Germany in 2014, it is the ticketing system behind PyCon, EuroPython, FOSDEM, OpenSUSE Conference and thousands of independent organisers across Europe.

The platform offers both a hosted service (pretix.eu) and a self-hostable open-source core (AGPLv3), with the same feature set on both paths. Organisers get customisable ticket shops, seating plans, waitlists, invoicing, bulk discounts, add-ons, access-control via mobile scanners and granular GDPR-aligned data handling — all without transaction fees on the self-hosted edition.
