Seef

Seef gives a company an AI assistant that answers from its own documents, not from the open web. Staff ask questions in plain language and every answer cites the source document it came from, so people can check the passage instead of trusting a confident paragraph.

Seef connects to Google Drive and SharePoint and indexes what is already there. Each customer gets a single-tenant instance in a cloud project of its own, with its own database, file storage and search index. Administrators decide which language models the instance may use, including models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek and Qwen, and a model only receives a prompt when someone asks a question.

Seef is operated by Timformatie B.V. in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, which is certified to ISO 27001:2022 and NEN 7510-1:2024, the Dutch standard for information security in healthcare. Customer instances run on Google Cloud in its Belgian region (europe-west1). Questions are answered by the model providers the customer approves, which are currently non-European, so the stored knowledge stays in the EU while individual prompts go to the chosen provider's API.
