scryp turns audio and video recordings into accurate text using its own speech model, SX-3, tuned for German as it is actually spoken in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, including dialects and proper names. Every plan includes unlimited transcription, so interviews, lectures and long meetings do not eat into a monthly minute allowance.

Files are encrypted in the browser with AES-256-GCM before they are uploaded, can be up to 10 GB each, and can be in any of 134 languages beyond German. Transcripts open in an editor synced to the audio, speakers are labelled automatically, and VoiceClear noise reduction cleans up difficult recordings. The top plan adds AI summaries that turn a recording into meeting minutes, to-do lists or social posts.

scryp is run by a sole proprietorship based in Vienna, Austria. Speech processing, including the AI features, happens in scryp's own data centre in Vienna, with encrypted storage at Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Email, payments and support also run on EU-based providers, and recordings are never passed to a US speech API.
